How Does Window Tint Work?
Window tint is applied to your home, business or automobile as a film. Once the film is applied to the glass, it can block nearly 80% of solar energy. The special dyes, metals or nano technology within the film, act as a solar energy barrier by either absorbing or reflecting a percentage of the energy from passing through the glass.

At Auto One, for automotive window tinting, we offer film in a variety of shades. Customers can choose between 50% (lightest) and 5% (darkest). For automotive window tinting, local laws will determine how dark you can go with the tint. Talk to your Auto One technician to find the best window tinting option for your vehicle.

What’s Legal for Window Tint?
In Michigan, 35% is the maximum darkness for auto window tint. In Florida, the maximum is either 25% or 15% depending on the window.
